Folkband Shantalla ontstond in 1999 België, maar vijf leden zijn Iers en zangeres Helen Flaherty is Schots. De titel van hun show is ook de titel van hun nieuwste cd: From the East into the West, met daarop traditionele en moderne nummers uit Ierland, Schotland en andere Europese landen.
